New City Fellowship began May 15, 1994 around the vision to be a cross-cultural church, ministering to black and white, rich and poor, male and female, young and old.  As a PCA congregation, we believe in the full inspiration of the Scriptures, and seek to preach the whole counsel of God to the whole person.

The End of the Faithful and the Faithless”

Meditation
Psalm 9:4-5
4 For you have maintained my just cause; you have sat on the throne, giving righteous judgment.  5 You have rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.

Summary
Peter gives examples from the Old Testament of God judging the wicked and sparing the righteous.  Why?  He wants us to know God will not remain silent.  He sees all and He will act at just the right time.  The question is; “Are we shocked by sin and evil?”  Lot was distressed in his soul over the evil he witnessed around him, are we?  Have we become numb to the filth we see on TV and movies or do we dismiss it as the norm so what’s the big deal?  What is clear according to Peter God will not remain silent on the issue and neither should we.
