New City Fellowship began May 15, 1994 around the vision to be a cross-cultural church, ministering to black and white, rich and poor, male and female, young and old.  As a PCA congregation, we believe in the full inspiration of the Scriptures, and seek to preach the whole counsel of God to the whole person.

And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.  If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

Summary
Have you ever gotten a gift that was incomplete?  After you received a gift you were told there was another one coming that completes the first.  That is why Christmas should not just be about celebrating Jesus’ first coming.  Brothers and Sisters, he is coming again.  It would not be completely Good News if we were left in this sinful world.  Scoffers today may not have a problem with Jesus’ first coming.  They believe he did some good things, but he is not coming back.  That is why their Christmas celebration is devoid of joy, but not ours!  This same Jesus that was born in Bethlehem, died at Calvary, rose from the tomb, ascended into heaven, is coming again to take us to a New Heaven and Earth.  Merry Christmas!
