Description:
Celebrating Black History

Being a cross-cultural church, we seek to show respect for all races, cultures, and economic classes. We need to do this throughout the year and not just in the month of February or Hispanic Heritage month (and we do!), but we do want to continue our practice of having a special celebration during the month of February to honor our African American brothers and sisters.

February 7th - During the combined Sunday school, Jeff Cox will teach about the Tuskegee Airmen. During the 10:30 a.m. Worship service. The choir will sing selections led by guest vocalist Ms. Priscilla Johnson. Jeff Cox will give a summary of his teaching on the Tuskegee Airmen, Pastor Bob will bring the message during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service.

February 14th - Pastor Doug Logan of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA will be our guest teacher during the Combined Sunday school. Pastor Logan will also bring the message during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. Jamelle Osborne will be our guest vocalist.

February 21st - Sandra King, our guest teacher during combined Sunday school and will also give a brief presentation in worship of what she taught in Sunday school. Mrs Sinita Leung will be our guest vocalist. Pastor Bob will bring the message during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service.
