As one communion in the worldwide church, the Presbyterian Church in America exists to glorify God by extending the kingdom of Jesus Christ over all individual lives through all areas of society and in all nations and cultures. To accomplish this end the PCA aims to fill the world with churches that are continually growing in vital worship, in theological depth, in true fellowship, in assertive evangelism and in deeds of compassion.  Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.

The presbytery now consists of twenty-one organized churches and mission churches as well as RUF ministries at Virginia Commonwealth University and James Madison University. The Lord, in His kind Providence, has continued to expand the reach of the Gospel through the ministry of our Churches and we look forward to seeing what He will do in the future advance of the Gospel through the ministry of our Church.

Crown and Joy Presbyterian Church is a Christ-centered congregation in South Richmond, Virginia, that is devoted to glorifying the Lord Jesus by proclaiming the word of God, administering the sacraments, loving fellowship, fervent prayer, serving one another and our community in word and deed, and seeking to be a church for people from various ethnic, cultural, generational, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including persons with special needs.

The New City Network developed out of congregations and ministries predominately in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). A growing list of ethnic and special focus ministries led MNA to create a division of ministry called Urban & Mercy Ministries, which Randy Nabors helped to develop over the past twenty years.
